Please add to your calendar and be respectful of the volunteer coach who will be ready for you at the selected time and date.
Please cancel or reschedule the appointment if you know you will not be able to make it ahead of time, up to ONE HOUR before your appointment.

We are all busy and we want to make sure you come to the appointment because a physician colleague is waiting for you who has volunteered their time to help you.

Zoom is the most common way to do coaching, but if you prefer you can keep the video feature off and do the session only with the audio portion so you can benefit from peer support.
We all want to help each other and protect each other.
Any service whether free or paid, we want to protect those helping and those who are getting helped. It also states all information is confidential.
The purpose is to have any qualified coach help you when you are struggling with something, not to establish long term coaching relationship.
That is why if you love the help and connected with the coach, you can look at their profile and continue long term coaching with them if you are interested. The information is there to help only. It is not there for any other purpose.
This service is not intended to replace the benefits of long term coaching, it is support when you need a colleague that is interested in supporting you without judgement, but you may not need a therapist, or you want the perspective of a peer physician.
No. Just like going for a car test drive does not giving you the benefits of buying a car you can use everyday.
But this is about peer support when you want to speak to someone who has been through experiences you have as well.
We offer skills we have learned as Certified Coaches that are different than a psychiatrist, friend, spouse or mentor. This is about peer support, having other skills is just a bonus.
There is nothing you have to be ready with except to tell us what do you need help with. It can be something you are thinking of that is troubling you, a feeling you have been having that is causing you distress.
Please be on time, make sure you have good internet connection, and schedule at a time you won't have distractions and not on call to make sure you can be free of distractions.
Cancel or reschedule ahead of time if you know something came up to be respectful to your colleagues so we can continue this service. You can cancel up to 1 hour from the appointment time. Go to your email and click "cancel/ reschedule."
