Dr. Sorlie-Aguilar is USC-Keck School of Medicine and UCSF trained family physicians who became interested in menopause and treatment 2 years ago when she went through the transition. 


She is passionate about sharing menopausal hormone education and feminine wisdom so that women can Ignite their Feminine Flame and live their most juicy and joyful life.   


In this episode she shares the common and not so common symptoms of menopause, the impact globally and nationally of it and how many women are getting treatment (<10%). She shares the data of the large Women's Health Study that pulled women out of systemic hormone treatment and the new consensus and findings of safely share by the North American Menopause Society stating the benefits outweigh risks especially if < 10 years out from menopause.

 Dr. Susie Sharpe is an internist and an international artist with shows in New York, Paris, Miami, Spain and more. She trained at Yale for Medical School and residency, and then went on to incorporate her love for art into buiding a career where she practices medicine and creates beautiful masterpieces. 


She is the recipient of multiple art awards and has been featured in magazines, TV and many exhibits nationally and internationally. At this time she enjoys creating art for female physicians who many have found her art healing and restorative during challenging times we have encountered during the pandemic. She has also created many commissioned paintings for cardiologists, hematologists and plastic surgeons.

 Dr. Arora is a a General Practitioner (Family Physician) in UK, with a career in medicine spanning over 2 decades. Identify your "why" are you doing things a certain way, how can you improve your systems, and how you can use help from your team members, scribe or a dictation system to maximize time and efficiency.  

Dr. Liz Rook, Rheumatologist 12/15/21

 Dr. Liz Rook, a Colorado Rheumatologist talks about ways to explore the causes of stress, understanding our thoughts, what we feel in our body and techniques that can help to allow, process and manage it.  She discusses how stress manifests in physical pain or flares especially in patients with autoimmune diseases in her practice. She discusses ways she has helped her patients and others to manage stress.  

Dr.Brad Jacobson ER Physician 11/9/21

Have you become angry, hypervigilant and thinking everyone else was is the one with a problem? Dr. Jacobson learned techniques, meditation, and created an accountability system with a therapist to be able to be consistent on techniques he learned and implemented in his daily life.  


He shares books that helped him such as "Buddha's Brain" by Rick Hanson, "Meditation for Beginners" by Jack Kornfield, and "Wherever You Go There You Are" by John Kabat-Zinn. He has also used APPS like Headspace and Calm as well as You Tube Channels such as "Great Meditation" for short, easy to follow meditations.  Dr. Jacobson is a wonderful person to speak to and just listening to him you will feel calmer and more relaxed.
